The journal's mission is to publish, in Spanish or English, original and unpublished documents in the form of research articles, analytical articles, opinions or points of view, review articles, short communications and obituaries, with the objective of disseminating scientific and technological advances in the following topics: agriculture, agroecology, allelopathy and bioactive substances, plant biology, plant physiology, phytotechnology, genetics and plant improvement, production systems management, plant health, sociology and rural development, soils and fertilization, livestock and environment, local agricultural innovation, local food resources.
