Centro Agrícola (e-ISSN: 2072-2001, p-ISSN: 0253-5785, e-RNPS: 2153, p-RNPS: 0168) is published by the Agricultural Research Center of the Central University "Marta Abreu" of Las Villas. It was founded in 1974 and currently offers a continuous publication system to increase the immediacy of its publications. It is aimed at professors, scientists, students, specialists and professionals in general who work in areas related to Agriculture. The journal publishes scientific articles, reviews, opinion pieces, and short communications, in Spanish and other languages, with the aim of disseminating scientific and technological advances in the fields of Agriculture, Agroecology, Allelopathy and Bioactive Substances, Plant Biology, Plant Physiology, Plant Breeding, Plant Health, Soils and Fertilization, Livestock and the Environment, Innovation, Local Agriculture, and Local Food Resources. All submitted manuscripts undergo a peer-review process, and the journal uses Open Journal Systems to manage its online content. It provides free and immediate access to its content, based on the principle that making research freely available to the public fosters greater global knowledge exchange. This journal does not charge any fees associated with the peer-review process, processing, or publication of accepted papers. Those authors who have published in this journal accept the terms of the CC Attribution/Recognition-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0), under which all their contents will be disseminated.
